Latest news from New Covent Garden Market is the completion of the first phase of the new Fruit & Vegetable Market which totals 69,300 sq ft (6438 sq m) of warehouse space. The two new buildings are designed to house 18 market wholesale businesses in state-of-the-art facilities and form the first sections of the new western and central blocks of the market. Work on the second phase is scheduled to begin next year.
